George Cossabone, Sr.

Councilman

Democrat: Serving Three Year Term ending December 31, 2025.

Mr. George Cossabone has served on Glassboro Council since 2001.  He is Chair of the Public Safety Committee, serves on the Finance and Highway Committees, and serves as liaison to the Planning Board.  George helped to forge a shared services agreement with Rowan to add eight part-time officers for special patrols on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings beginning in 2012.  

George and his wife have five children and four grandchildren.  A 40-year resident of Glassboro, he is a veteran of the United States Air Force.  His community activities include:
