Festeggiamo Insieme! St. Anthony's Italian Festival is back for it's 11th year

On Saturday, September 14th, the Borough of Glassboro is proud to present the 11th Annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival, a vibrant celebration of culture, gastronomy, art, and music that exudes unmatched energy and enthusiasm. This event has become one of Southern New Jersey’s most anticipated gatherings, drawing visitors from across the Delaware Valley.

In addition to a delectable array of Italian cuisine, the festival will showcase a diverse lineup of musical performances, talented artists, and skilled crafters. What sets this event apart is the cherished tradition of collaboration between the Borough of Glassboro and St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society.

Established in the early 1900s by Italian immigrants in Glassboro and its surrounding areas, St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society was created to provide financial assistance to families and offer a communal space where traditions and customs could be honored and preserved.

Attendees of all ages can look forward to a day filled with entertainment for the whole family. Musical acts, authentic Italian food vendors, a lively beer garden, a dedicated kids zone, and more will be on offer throughout the festival.

The festivities will kick off with a procession from St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society to Glassboro’s Town Square at 1:45 p.m., followed by an opening ceremony. The musical lineup includes performances by Right Turn at 40 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., “Mr. Smooth” himself, Greg Armstrong and friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and 99 Reasons from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Come rain or shine, the event will go on as scheduled, with free parking available in all Borough-owned lots and Nexus parking garages on Rowan Blvd. The Borough of Glassboro extends its gratitude to Nexus Properties, The Law Offices of Tim Scaffidi, New Jersey Clean Communities, Young Team Realty, T-Mobile, Renewal By Anderson, EdiFi Credit Union, Newfield National Bank, Power Home Remodeling, Ransom Consulting and State Farm Troy McAuliffe for their financial support of the event.
