We register, amend, maintain, and issue certified copies of birth, death, and marriage records for Glassboro. Our mission is to promptly and accurately register, amend, maintain, and issue certified copies of birth, marriage and death records while following New Jersey General Laws regulating these documents.
We maintain custody of all birth, marriage, and death records dating back to 1918. Each year, we add approximately thousands of new entries and issued copies of certified records.

Marriage applications are taken on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10:30 am or 2:30 pm. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Marriage and Civil Union Applications/Licenses:
Applicants have the choice to apply where either partner resides in the State of New Jersey. If both applicants are from out of state, they must apply where the event will take place.
Applicants should call the Registrar to schedule an appointment.
Appointments can be made on Mondays and Tuesdays.
A witness over the age of 18 years old must accompany the applicants to their appointment.
There is a $28.00 fee paid by cash or credit card.

Currently, a blood test is not required.
Once the application is completed, the license will be held for 72 hours.
After the license is picked up, it is only valid for 30 days.
Birth, Marriage, Domestic Partnership, Civil Union and Death Certificates:
Current proof of photo identification is required to release a certified copy of any records.
The cost is $20.00 for each certified copy.
